The San Rafael Classic Supports Volunteers!The San Rafael Classic Triathlon is unique to Utah's triathlon circuit, in that it is the only annual triathletic event that donates all of it's profits to a volunteer public safety organization!
The San Rafael Classic is organized by the Emery County Search & Rescue Team. Several other organizations also assist organizing the San Rafael Classic Triathlon with; funding for advertizing, event staffing, event hosting, and event insurance. This event is the primary annual fund raising event for the 100% volunteer Emery County Search & Rescue Team. Your registration and donations help them save the lives of stranded or injured recreationers on the high desert of the San Rafael Swell, and the rugged mountains of the Wasatch Plateau, and Book Cliffs year round!
