Kids Triathlon !!!

Event Brief:100 Yard Swim, 2 Mile Bike, 1/2 Mile Run

Event Description: The Kids Triathlon will begin with a 100 yard swim in Huntington Lake, continue with a 2 mile bike ride through the Huntington State Park Campground, and finish with a 1/2 mile run on the same campground course !!!

Each registered participant will enjoy a free, pasta dinner Friday night June 27, 2008 at the Huntington State Park pavilion.

Participants will also receive a packet which will include: an event t-shirt, an event water bottle, a swim cap, and many other items.

Registered Athletes can stay in the Huntington State Park Campground for FREE on Friday night, June 27th, 2008. Reservations must be made for these sites, by contacting State Park Ranger Dan Richards. You can find Dan's contact information, by clicking the campground reservations button on this websites homepage.

Athletes 14 years old, or younger are welcome to participate in the Kids Triathlon !!!

There will be five race groups, organized into 2 year age brackets:

5 - 6 yr. olds, 7 - 8 yr. olds, 9 - 10 yr. olds, 11 - 12 yr. olds, 13 - 14 yr. olds.

The State Park (including the campground loop) will be closed to all vehicle traffic, during the San Rafael Classic Kids Triathlon !!!

Entry Fee: $25.00 per person.

Online Registration Closed: 26 June 2008 at 11:59pm.

Registration can be done in person, at the Huntington State Park, Friday night at the Pasta Dinner or Saturday morning before 7:15am.
